Luxury Hotel Advisors has been engaged to secure equity financing for the development of a luxury resort and residential development project which encompasses the entire island of Walker’s Cay in the Bahamas. Long known as a highly attractive sport fishing destination, the development will include a 60-room hotel, 60 residential condos, 14 residential lots, an existing and operational 80-slip marina and an airstrip. There is also a casino license allowing a 150 seat Monte Carlo style casino.

The owner of the island is seeking a 50/50 equity development and investment partner to complete the project.

Walker’s Cay lies 53 miles to the northeast of West End, Grand Bahama, in the northern Bahamas. The island is just under 100 acres and for over fifty years, has been a legendary fishing resort known worldwide as a premier, deep-sea fishing location. The rebirth of Walker’s Cay will position the island not only as a fishing destination but as multi-faceted resort offering a variety of water sports and on island activities.
